Ang unang God-Concept
na na-form sa akin ay ang Christian God.
Hindi naman ako nagsisisi
Dahil kung sa Hindu country ako lumaki
Baka ang nasalin sa aking God-Concept
ay isang kulay bughaw na Elepante.
Nangyari lamang na dumating sa buhay ko
ang stage na tinawag kong Unlearning.
Now, I look at Books, including the Bible
without a preconceive notion that "God is Good".
I search the contents of the Message
with a question in my mind "Who or What is God?"
Thus I become a Seeker.
Hindi po ako miembro ng anumang relihiyon
na nakakasigurado ng nakaraan at ng hinaharap
ayon sa aklat na kanilang nabasa
at sa itinuro ng kanilang pastor.
Totoo bang may Diyos
At mabuti ba sya?
Hindi ko alam.
Immortal ba ang Tao?
Hindi ko alam.
Pero intensyon kong alamin.
Hindi lang po Biblia ang binabasa ko
Tinitignan ko rin ang Soul Concept ng Buddhism
O kaya ang kawalan ng God Concept ng Atheism
Maski ang Nonantropomorphical God ng Paganism
Nagtatanong ako
"Bakit ako maniniwala na ang tao ay mula sa alikabok,
at hindi nag-evolve mula sa apes?"
Nag-iisip ako
"Kung ang konsepto ng Diyos sa Hustisya
ay iba sa konsepto ng Tao,
Maaari kayang iba rin ang konsepto ng Diyos
Sa langit, impierno, kaligtasan, kaparusahan at iba pa?
Kaninong interpretasyon ang nararapat tanggapin?
At ano ang basehan?"
Pagbabasehan ko ba ang agham, lohika at pilosopiya?
O ang sarili kong pamantayan ng tama at mali?
O isa sa mga sinaunang aklat?
O sa taong humihiyaw, umiiyak at minsa'y kumikisay sa harap ko?
Marami pong katanungan
na hinanapan ko ng sagot, ng may sinseridad.
Hindi ko inaasahan lahat ng tanong
ay masasagot,
At kung paparuhasan ako ng isa sa mga Diyos
Dahil nagduda ako sa kanya,
Matatanggap ko yon,
Kesa naniwala ako unang taong nambola sa akin.

I'm happy to know that there are people like you who have figured out a way to evacuate themselves from religion. Somehow I believe they made the right choice cos most religious adherents, (paticularly Christians), are BLIND followers.
Fanatics, in short.
They would go to all pains of preaching the "good news" to you, which, in truth isn't really that "good" for when you oppose them, you would dive straight to hell and fry there forever.
Now, that wouldn't be quite so "good" to hear, would it?
But to be frank, all they want is for you to be their mindLESS SLAVE.
But you have to be a member of their own religious flock, otherwise you would be treated as an unbeliever---or even a heretic.
There is where POLITICS enter in, my friend.
You know the thing about most Religions is they tend to point a finger on each others flaws when they FAIL to notice their own "mote-in-the-eye," so to speak.
And if one shows them their OWN flaws, most of them (especially the devout ones) would seek to JUSTIFY it by citing a quote from the Bible.
Their OWN Version, that is.
You may want to ask.
What do Christians and Muslims have in common?
Well, with regards to teachings and dogmas, each of them has a set of their own rules and regulations---taken from their OWN book for them to live by.
The Holy Bible for the Christians and
The Noble Qur'an for the Muslims.
But don't ignore the side of the coin.
Most of them (if not all) are GOOD in justifying the atrocities of their god---which are also recorded in their book which consider holy AND pure.

What they're really saying is, in effect:
All the innumerable genocides and homicides we read in the OT are justifiable so long as THEIR god says so.
BUT ...
and the BIG B-U-T is:
What IF those deeds were done by ANOTHER Deity?
Can that be considered "justifiable"?
If god (much less THEIR) god orders them to slaughter INNOCENT infants ... would that make them HOLY if they OBEY?
And UNHOLY if they DISOBEY?
God, since he is the CREATOR has the RIGHT to do whatever he wills, some of them may retort.
But let us not forget that RIGHTS could be ABUSED, isn't it?
Correspondingly ...
What if some sinisterial figure like the DEVIL orders them NOT to steal and honor one's own parents, would that be treated as a DECEPTION---only because the devil says so?
What makes a deed holy and good? When god commands it? What if god orders someone to jump off the cliff, can we call that GOOD?
Would'nt that be termed SUICIDE?
Which also reminds me of a christian mom who CUTS OFF HER DAUGHTERS arm only bcos she believes her god tells her to:

If there were no god and NO reward in the afterlife, would you people cease caring for your neighbors?
Would many of you ravish your own siblings?
Or commit incest?
These are some things worth considering my dear friends.
If one NEEDS Religion to be good, what IF there were NO RELIGIONS around?
Would goodness stop and will people cease to exist?

well, depende po sa tao. kung kumikita ka ng 500php per hour, and u chose to dedicated that hour to the subject, u actually paid it, by earning power. hahaha.
